Trinity Shockley, an 18-year-old from Mooresville,
Indiana, has been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit violence and making threats of mass violence. She allegedly planned a mass shooting at her high school, Mooresville High School, on Valentine’s Day.
Authorities were alerted to her plans through a tip and executed a search warrant at her home, where they uncovered evidence of her attack preparations.
Shockley had previously made headlines in 2022 after being struck by a suspected drunk driver while crossing the street.
At the time, her aunt, Angela Altmeyer, described her as a “fun, loving girl” who is “always on the move.” Shockley lives with her single father, Tim, who served 19 years in the military before taking medical leave. The local community had raised funds to support Shockley’s recovery following the 2022 accident.
